Privacy Policy
Last updated October 29, 2026.
This policy explains what information Q&A Circle collects and how it is used.
- What we collect: your email address and password (handled by Supabase, our authentication provider), the content you post (questions, answers, your profile), and basic usage data like pages viewed, how you arrived at the site, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, and which links you click.
- Why we collect it: to run your account, show the content you post, keep the community safe (for example, investigating reports of abuse or spam), and understand which parts of the site are actually useful so we can improve them.
- Who we share it with: Supabase hosts our database and handles authentication, and can access data only as needed to provide that service. PayPal processes sponsorship payments. Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) measures site usage for us; it is configured without advertising features, so Analytics data is not used for ad personalization, and Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. We do not show Google AdSense ads at this time; if we start, this policy will be updated first. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
- Creator Studio: if you upload or generate images or videos, we store the files and their titles, sizes and dates, and any prompts you use, privately in Supabase Storage. Only you can see them unless you attach them to a question or answer you post: attached media is then shown publicly with that post until you remove it, delete the post, or a moderator hides it. Files are kept until you delete them or close your account. When AI generation is available, your prompt (and any starting image you choose) is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to create the result.
- Sponsorships and payments: If you buy a sponsorship, we collect the sponsor name, contact email, website link, message, and logo link you provide, and we display the name, link, message, and logo publicly for the paid period. Payments are processed by PayPal; we don't receive or store card numbers. We keep PayPal order and capture IDs, amounts, and fees to fulfil, refund, and account for sponsorships. Questions: hello@qandacircle.com.
- Cookies and analytics: Q&A Circle uses cookies needed to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages and links are useful. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked first, and no analytics cookies are set unless they accept. Everyone else can opt out at any time here (the choice is saved in this browser). You can also use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
Your analytics choice on this browser: not set - Your rights: you can review and update your account information from your profile settings at any time. To request deletion of your account, contact us at hello@qandacircle.com. We will delete your personal account information; because Q&A Circle is a public discussion site, questions and answers you have posted may remain visible so the conversation stays intact for others, but will no longer be linked to your account.
- Retention and security: we keep your account data for as long as your account is active, and delete it within a reasonable time after you request deletion or close your account. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. We use reasonable technical measures, including the encrypted connections and access controls Supabase provides, to protect your information, though no online service can guarantee perfect security.
- Children's privacy: Q&A Circle is not directed at children, and you must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If we learn that someone under 13 has created an account, we will delete it.
- Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to hello@qandacircle.com.
- If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note the change here. October 27, 2026: added Google Analytics. October 29, 2026: added Creator Studio.
